Cleaning Tips by Material

Gold and Platinum

  • Solution: Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water.
  • Method: Soak the jewelry for 15-20 minutes, then gently scrub with a soft toothbrush. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft cloth.

 

Silver

  • Solution: Use a silver polish or a mix of baking soda and water to form a paste.
  • Method: Apply the paste with a soft cloth and gently rub the tarnished areas. Rinse with lukewarm water and dry thoroughly. For silver polishes, follow the product instructions.

Gemstones

  • Solution: Use a mix of mild dish soap and warm water.
  • Method: Soak the jewelry briefly, then gently scrub around the settings with a soft toothbrush. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft cloth. Avoid soaking porous stones like pearls and opals.

Pearls

  • Solution: Use a soft, damp cloth.
  • Method: Wipe each pearl individually with the damp cloth. Allow them to air dry completely before storing. Avoid soaking pearls in water.

 

Additional Tips

  • Check Settings Regularly: Periodically inspect your jewelry for loose stones or damaged settings. Have any issues repaired by a professional jeweler.
  • Polish Cloths: Use a jewelry polishing cloth to restore the shine of metal jewelry between cleanings.

Under our warranty, we’ve got your back. This means that for 90 days from the date of purchase, we’ll take care of your product if any damage to the material or the workmanship of the jewelry occurs.

We work with top manufacturers to create handcrafted, responsibly sourced pieces that are made to last. We’re confident in the quality of our product hence the 90-day coverage. This also means that the warranty does not cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear and tear (like a bent ring or broken chain), improper use or storage of your product, and any modification to your product done by a third party outside of Rootell.

If our shipment hasn’t been sent out yet, then you can let us know the updated address.
If the goods have already been shipped then we have no way to change the address.

There are the following two modes of transportation.

1) Standard Shipping:Free(Over $69)/$8(Under $69)

Buy any product(Over $69) from our website, you can enjoy free shipping. Up to 5-15 working days worldwide (depending on your location).

The shipping fee is charged based on the subtotal before taxes and discounts, and is non-refundable.

 

2) DHL & FedEx Shipping: Freight: 20 USD

You can also choose international express DHL or FedEx, we will deliver the goods for you as soon as possible. This may take 3-7 business days to complete globally (depending on your location). Currently, we will charge a shipping fee of $20.

Rootell does not add any taxes, value added tax, or other hidden fees. The total order amount you see on the checkout page (ie, product subtotal + shipping) is the amount you paid us. However, for international shipments, the recipient is responsible for all customs fees in his/her country/region. Sometimes products in certain value, or in certain categories, are not taxed.

Import duties and value-added tax may or may not be levied and will only be determined when the goods pass through the customs of your country/region. Please check the import policy of your country/region to understand your responsibilities.

Returns & Exchanges

Our refund and returns policy lasts 25 days. If 25 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

 

The shipping fee is charged based on the subtotal before taxes and discounts, and is non-refundable.

 

Return Postage

If we are at fault for this return and refund, our company will bear the return shipping cost.

We will cover the return postage from your country to our company, and this can be paid via PayPal, or as a cash voucher to be used on your next order.

We bear no responsibility for return postage of orders which do not comply with our policies and agreements or in cases where we are not at fault.
